He starts school and is very scared. Rightfully so because he does not understand English and others do not understand Spanish. -

Torito is born, but he does not do well at first. Thankfully he gets passed his sickness. -
Christmastime!
Panchito and his family celebrate Christmas. His father sneakily gets his mother a present. The children get candy. -
Panchito and his family get a Parrot!
They are very excited about their pet, but he sadly does not last long. -
The house fire
Panchito finally gets to live in a house. Unfortunately, it burns down when they use gasoline for the stove. -
Kick-the-Can
On a lighter note, Panchito enjoys kick the can with his friends. He even stands up for Manuelito. -
The ending
Francisco seems to be getting the hang of things. Unfortunately, he has to get deported.
