    Super Bowl XXXI
In Brett Favre's only Super Bowl win, he was not named the MVP of the game, however, he won the league MVP 3 times. Favre started off hot, throwing a 54 yard touchdown on the second play of the game. Down 4 points early in the second, Favre threw an 81 yard touchdown, still standing as a Super Bowl record. Favre then ran the ball in to put the Packers up 27-14 at the half. The Packers held on and Favre finished 14 of 27 for 246 yards (Super Bowl XXXI Recap).

Stats like those were common for Brett, and combined with listening to him on the sideline, one truly gets a sense of his personality. Favre wanted to win. There was never a doubt about that. But he wanted to make sure he was having fun at the same time. Brett would crack jokes continuously throughout his Super Bowl winning season. That is why so many of his team mates loved to be around him on and off the field.

    Texting Incident with Jenn Sterger
Jenn Sterger was a cheerleader for the New York Jets and Favre was a part of the organization. Favre supposedly sent lewd photos to Sterger, even after she requested him to stop. Favre was never actually proven guilty, but was fined $50K for not cooperating with the investigation (Norman). Favre was an excellent quaterback on the field, but he had some issues off the field. Favre could sometimes lose control and take things too far. Not to mention he also has a wife, hence his lack of integrity.

This, combined with his jokes on the field, exhibit hints of immaturity from someone who is, or at least should be, a role model for so many people.

    Interview with Rob Demovsky
Brett Favre was traded to the Packers after only one season with the Falcons. Favre got a call from his offensive coordinator, and that was the first time he had heard the news. He thought it was a joke. Brett didn't believe it until he received a call from the Packers, confirming the previous call (Demovsky). Brett was still naive. He couldn't believe that after that just after one season he had already been traded. This was the first time he learned that the NFL is a business.

Brett Favre Reflects on Draft Day
When Brett Favre was drafted, his name was famously mispronounced: "Brett Favor." Favre didn't let this get him down as he was just eager to be drafted into the NFL. He was playing video games as he passed time until he heard his name called (Hendricks). This again shows Brett's calmer, less mature side. Many players like to wear suits and be ready for when their name is called. Instead, Favre chose to stay at home with his family, whom he loved greatly, and play video games.

Brett Favre exhibit unveiled in Hall of Fame.
Favre's unbelievable career was officially completed as he was voted into the Hall of Fame on just his first year of eligibility. Again though, Favre displays the same goofy personality he had shown throughout his career. He decided to put up bunny ears behind the statue of himself, in what was supposed to be a formal image of him with his new bust. Favre never grew out of his personality, and that is what so many people love about him.
