Grendel attacks Herot

Grendel attacks Hrothgar's kingdom for years. Many people leave because it is not safe for them to stay there. They try everything to keeps the kingdom safe, but they cannot figure out how to get rid of Grendel.

Beowulf goes to Herot

Beowulf hears about what is happening to Hrothgar's kingdom and wants to help. Even if it is not his people he wants to help make these other people safe and rid Hrothgar's kingdom of all evil.

Beowulf makes his First Boast

Hrothgar goes to Hrothgar and tells him about what he has done. The monsters he has killed, and how he will try to kill Grendel. Beowulf thinks that he has the campabilities to kill Grendel.

Beowulf fights Grendel

In the middle of the night Grendel comes to attack Herot. When he goes to attack Beowulf, Beowulf grabs his arm. This was the first time that Grendel had felt fear. They were rolling around attacking eachother, until Beowulf ripped off Grendel's arm. Grendel ran back to his lair were he would die.

Grendel's mother comes to Herot

In the middle of the night Grendel's mother comes to Herot to get her sons arm back and attack the people at Hrothgar's kingdom. When Beowulf realizes this he tells Hrothgar that he will go and kill Grendel's mother, because he told Hrothgar he would rid his hall of all evil.

Beowulf fights Grendel's mother

Beowuldf goes down to Grendel's mothers lair to go defeat her. Grendel and Grendel's mother both cannot be killed by man made weapons, so this made it very hard for Beowulf to defeat her. As they were battling back and fourth Beowuld found a sword that was made by giants, only men with great strength could pick this sword up. Beowulf picks it up and kills Grendel's mother.

Beowulf returns from Grendel's mothers lair

When Beowuld returns from Grendel's mothers lair he brought back Grendel's head. He brought it back to show everyone of his great victory. He had got rid of the evil at Hrothgar's kingdom.

Dragon goes to Beowulf's kingdom

Beowulf is alot older now but still wants to keep people safe. The Dragon is attacking his kingdom and setting it to flames. Beowuld makes his last boast. He knows that fate is not on his side but he will still fight the Dragon because he wants his kingdom to be safe.

Beowulf fights the Dragon

Beowulf goes to fight the dragon. He has alot more trouble then he did in his previous fights but he still does not give up. He fights the dragon until he is down. Wiglaf comes to help Beowulf defeat the dragon. Together they get the dragon down and defeat him.

Beowulf tells Wiglaf to get the gold

After they defeated the dragon Beowuld wanted Wiglaf to get the treasure from the Dragon's lair. He needed to get this because the Dragon had destroyed his kingdom with his flames, and he would use this to help rebuild his kingdom.

Beowulf dies

Beowulf dies because of how bad his injuries were. He will always be remebered for his courgeous acts and how great of a hero he was. They had taken a boat and put treaure on it with Beowuld and set it off to sail away.
