    Benjamin takes a boat from New York to Philadelphia, in which he has to help row the boat himself. After about six days in the boat some voyagers become worried that they have passed Philadelphia, so they stop for the night in a creek. When they wake up in the morning they are able to see Philadelphia. When he arrives in Philadelphia he has nothing but the clothes on his back and a very small amount of money.
