A series of works that were published between 1830 and 1842 which he worked on and would be his start into developing and outlining positivism, especially the epistemological side. There were 5 volumes in total, the first 3 are concerned with the existing sciences and the last two deal with the "inevitable" rise of the social science or sociology. A General View of Positivism Published
This was a compilation of the previous volumes that he had put out but was more streamlined and clearly outlined the views of positivism and directed how he believed sociology should be conducted. This is also the first time that his "Law of Three Stages" was seen and gained attention. His "Law of Three Stages" was his theory that both society and the sciences develop through three stages, Theological, Metaphysical, and finally positive. -

System of Positive Polity Published
The System of Positive Polity was his work that delved into analyzing and coming out with the start of the Religion of Humanity which was his religion he had started to develop that he said would move away from the theology based society that had broken it down.
