He was a member of the Republican Party who led a realignment that made Republicans largely dominant in the industrial states and nationwide for decades. After his death his VP Teddy Roosevelt took over office. -

Warren Gamaliel Harding was the 29th president of the United States from 1921 until his death in 1923. He died of a heart attack leaving his VP Calvin Coolidge with the presidency. He was a member of the Republican Party and was one of the most popular sitting U.S. presidents. -
Franklin D. Roosevelt
Franklin D. Roosevelt also known as FDR was the reason the 22nd amendment exists. After serving his two terms he decided to break the precedent George Washington set of only serving two terms. He decided to run again which he won and then he decided to run a 4th time winning again. In the middle of his 4th term he died of a cerebral hemorrhage also known as a stroke. -
John F. Kennedy
JFK was the 35th president and also the youngest elected president who served from 1961 to 1963. He was a member of the democratic party and was assassinated in 1963 by Lee Harvey Oswald. Today he now has an airport named after him located in New York City. -
Richard Nixon
Richard Milhous Nixon was the 37th president of the United States, serving from 1969 to 1974. A member of the Republican Party, he previously served as the 36th vice president from 1953 to 1961 under Dwight D. Eisenhower. In 1974 he resigned due to the Watergate Scandal which he was going to get impeached for. After his resignation VP Gerald Ford took over the presidency.
