His Childhood
Joey lived through a difficult childhood: When Joey was 12, his mother resorted to alcoholism and drug abuse, his father judged him for years for acting like a girl and wearing dresses. Fortunately, he accepted him for who he was and they have a great relationship. He has an older sister, Nicole and a half brother, Jett, which was diagnosed with autism.. He was bullied during highschool as well, which made it difficult for him to make friends. -

His Education
Joey graduated from Marlborough High School. Later, he joined Fitchburg State College. However, Joey dropped out just after one year to persue his youtube career as a full-time job. Joey had always wanted to be an actor, but his dream was crushed when he was denied in his dream university. -

He then decided to create his own channel called "Joey Graceffa". He announced this decision on July 9th, 2012. Later, in 2013 he joined the StyleHaul YouTube Network. -

Although Joey got denied in his dream school, he continued his life and pursued acting. He produced and starred on his webseries, called "StoryTellers". -

His Love Life/First Music Video
Joey Graceffa introduced Daniel Preda as his friend, but after posting his first music video, "Don't Wait", he revealed his homosexuality, since at the end of the music video, he was kissing Daniel. This video is one of the most viewed on his channel, with over 34 million views. Joey and Daniel are still together today. -
His Official Coming Out
Joey officially came out on his video "Yes, I'm Gay", where he declared he was gay, and opened up completely to his fans. -
