Alexander was born in Berlin September, 14, 1759. He was the son of Federick the Great and was the older brother of Wilhelm von Humboldt.

Father dies

Alexander von Humboldt was 10 years old when his father died he was heart broken for he was very close to his father.

First voyage

After Alexander was done with collage he wanted to explore but he did not go alone he went to South America with Amie Jaques Bonpland. He arrived at the coast of venezuela in 1804

Ph.D

Aug 10, 1805

Alexander ovn Humboldt gets his Ph.D on science. after he wet to South America. He got his Ph.D with Bonpland.

Trip to serbia

Dec 11, 1829

Alexander von Humboldt goes to serbia to explore again to find a new way of exploring.

May 6, 1859

Alexander von Humboldt died in Berlin 1859 Because of a stroke but no one knows what kind of stroke. He was burried in Tegel and honerd as a great man. This picture is a statue of him at the humboldt university.
