The Birth Of Alexander

356 BCE

Alexander was born in 356 B.C. he is the son of King Phillip II & Olympias. As Alexander got older he soon got a tutor that taught Alexander many skills like archery, horsemanship,math and military skills.

Aristotle Teaches Alexander

343 BCE

The King hires Aristotle to tutor Alexander. In the years to come Aristotle teaches him to appreciate philosophy,geography, greek poetry, and scientific investigation.

Joins the Army

340 BCE

At the age of 16 Alexander decided to join his Fathers army. Around this time King Phillip has token control of all Greek city States except Athens and Thebes.

First Battle

338 BCE

The Macedonians meet with Athenians and Thebans For a battle at Chaeronea. Alexander lead this fight against the Thebans and his father lead against the Athenians. This was known to be Alexanders first experience at battle

Assassination on Phillip II

336 BCE

Phillip II ready to attach Persia soon gets assassinated by his bodyguards at The Theater of Agae. Alexander then becomes King at the age of 20

Rebellion

335 BCE

Thracians and Illyians rise up to rebel as well as Thebes. Alexander acts quickly as a leader to stop the rebellion he succeeds showing that he is just as powerful as his father.

Fight Against The Persians

Alexander leads the Macedonian Army. After a long fight the Persians soon retreat

Alexander spends most of his time in turkey where according to the legend he solves The puzzle Gordian Knot. They say who ever unties the knot shall rule all of Asia

Alexandria

Alexander decides to create a city after himself called Alexandria this is just one of many cities he soon names Alexandria. Alexander and King Darius face off in battle with Macadonians having too great military skills Persia flees.

Combining Cultures

While moving into one Persian city to the next Alexander Decides to incorporate many of their customs into his life.

Lost of a friend

Suffering from tension from all the warfare Alexander decides to go out with a friend to become drunk. After getting into a argument Alexander stabs Cletius with a spear. Alexander is filled with remorse of what happened this leads to his officers being afraid of him

Alexander and his troops cross the Hindi Kush and India after defeating them they spend months through India his troops didnt want to go any further and he is forced back to Babylon.

Death Of Alexander

323 BCE

Falling sick from a sudden fever Alexander dies at the age of 32 In Babylon Leaving his kingdom into crumbles.
