Book starts in the milk bar
The story starts out with all the the droogs and Alex all in the milk bar drinking the milk before going out for the night. This gets the story moving and shows us characters. -
First Crime Spree
Alex and the droogs go out on their first crime spree. They break into homes and drive a fast stolen car and do more crimes like rape and murder. -
Meeting back at the milk bar
All of the droogs go back and meet at the milk bar after a night full of crime. Tension is really building and people hate how much power Alex has. They end up fighting in the milk bar. -
Second Crime Spree
They all go on another crime spree. This time the droogs find themselves against alex and want to ditch him by the end of the crime. So, thats what they do. -
Alex goes to jail.
Alex gets left behind after they robbed the lady's house. The droogs left because the cops were called. Alex had gotten hit and was not able to escape because he was injured. So, the cops came and took him away. -
Alex's Sentence
He gets his sentence of 14 years in jail for the crimes that he did. He thinks that prison is really hard and hates how horrible the jail workers treat him. -
Alex reading the Bible
While in jail Alex is having a good time and listening to his favorite type of music and he starts reading the bible. He is interesting in the things they are talking about such as drinking and fighting. -
Alex gets into the treatment
Alex finds himself in a situation where he got into to a fight and killed somebody else that was also in jail. At this point his bad choices made him ready to try one of the treatments to becomes a better person. -
The Treatment
The treatment includes him getting an injection of a bad drug and then they force his eyes to be open while he watches horrible horrible movies about violence and other things. -
Experiment Results
The government/experiment group think that the experiment went well after testing and he no longer will be violent. -
Release/Problems
Alex is out of jail now because they think he is harmless which he is, however he now finds out that he can't fight back because he hates violence. -
The Droogs Visit Him Again
The droogs see Alex walking down the street after getting out of jail and he is walking because he has no place to go. They beat him up and almost kill him and end up just leaving him in the rain -
Going to a old place
Alex is in the poring rain helpless and needs to find a place to stay. He is walking past a place or house that he knows from the past and just goes in the try to find some help. -
Him trying to commit suicide
He finds out that the man who owns this house is the person who wife he raped. He finds out she died and then the owner finds out he was the one who did it. So, he knows that Alex now hates classical music cause of the treatment so the owner blasts the music and alex jumps out of the window -
The ending
After Alex is taken to the hospital they find out that the fall took all the treatment out of him and he is back to his old self. He goes back to his old ways again and forms a new gang
