Mona Lisa Stolen
The famous painting known as the Mona Lisa was stolen from Salon Carre. It was missing for 26 hours before anyone had noticed. Louvre (the musem) held a totel of 60 detectives. They belived that the painting was stolen by a former employer. -
Mona Lisa Theif Captured
Vincenzo Perugias an Italian who used to work as a glazier at the musem was caught and arrested after trying to sell it. -
Valentine's Day Massacre
A gang war between two sides, the south side italian lead by Al Capone and north side lead by Bugs Moran. In one gursome day 7 gang members died from machine gun fire. It was considered the most most notorious gang murders in 20th century crime. -
Linbergh Kidnapping
the son of Charles Lindbergh and Anne Morrow Lindbergh (famous aviators), was kidnapped from their home on 1st March 1932, between 8pm and 10pm. A ransom of $70,000 was held for the childs (20 months old) head. Sadly the child was later found dead on May 12th 1932.Bruno Richard Hauptmann was arrested for the kidnapping of the child, and was sentenced to death by electric chair at New Jersey State Prison on April 3rd 1936. -

Between 1932 to 1934 was the crime spree of two infamous couple known as Bonnie and Clyde. Both have committed murder, robbery and were outlaws. Their spree stopped on May 23 1934 where they got ambushed and killed by the police -
John Dillinger Bank Robberys
John Dillinger was an infamous Bank robbber. He robbed a totle of 12 banks and 4 police stations. He was also charged with the murder of a police officer after a shoot out. Actress Elizabeth Short was found murdered in Leimert Park. Her body was sliced in half and was completely drained of all of her blood, Her face was also cut from the corner of her mouth to her ear. The case was left unsolved. -

1962 to 1964 saw the murders of 14 women ageing from 19 to 85 from Boston, Massachusetts and theUnited States. They were found dead in their homes and usally strangled to death. DeSalvo later confessed to the murders, he was sentenced to life imprison in 1967 -

Auguest 8 1963 a gang of theves borded the Royal Mail's Glasgow and stole £2.6 million worth of goods. The gang planned for this and was done without any weapons. -

A terroist attack on the 1972 Olympic games saw 11 innocent people dead. Eight Palestinian terrorists entered the games and killed 2 members of the Israeli Olympic team. Oklahoma City Bombing
A 5000 pound bomb exploded killing 168 people includeing 19 childern outside the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma at 9:02 am. Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols were the terrorist who done this. It was considered the worst terrorist attack at that time. 90 min after the explosion the terrorist were pulled of the streets and arrested. -
Columbine Massacre
Two students, Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris entered their school and started shooting and killing random students. The boys objective was to kill as many as they could in the school, useing guns, knives and bombs. In the end 12 students and 1 tearcher were dead and 21 injured. They then committed suicide.
