In this story, God continues to advance his mission to reflect his glory when he told Abraham to sacrifice his son. Not only was Abraham Obedient, he was even willing to kill him without asking God a single question. The reason God did this was to test Abraham if he loves Isaac more or if he loves God more. It advances his mission because it shows the love that his people has for him. https://biblehub.com/timeline/

Genesis 27:15-17 In this verse, Jacob was disguised as Esau by his mother so that he could get the blessings from Isaac and so that Isaac would accept him. This relates to the NT when Jesus Christ was disguised as us, wearing our bodies and sins, and lived the life equal to all of us when he didn't have to, and he sacrificed himself so that we could live in righteousness. https://biblehub.com/timeline/

John 17:24
This verse talks about how God was chosen to be honored and blessed before the foundations of this world. And was chosen to be the beloved one of the Father before the entire universe began. This relates to the book of Genesis in Jacob's story when he was already chosen to be the one who has more blessings and who will be more successful and honored in the future. https://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/shows/religion/story/mmfour.html -

In the Bible, Genesis 12:1-2, God promised Abraham that he will make him into a great nation. And even until now, a few thousand years has passed by,you can see that Abraham's descendants are still growing. It is still a great nation. Abraham is known to be the Patriarch of the jews, and from this website you can clearly tell that Jews are still growing and the reason I put US as the location is because there is the most jews in the US. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jewish_population_by_country

In Genesis 39:21,Joseph was in jail,God made him the favorite in the jail, and it also talks about how God stuck with Joseph.Joseph was in such a bad time in his life, yet he was still positive and followed God.I was in a sad time back in elementary.got bullied, and as bad as this is, God was still with me the entire time and I responded with positivity. Now I love school and I'm a pretty happy student.even though bad things happen to us,God will always be with us and we should be positive.
