Birth.
Jimin was born on October 13, 19952 3 in Geumjeong-gu, Busan, South Korea. Besides his father and mother, he also has a younger brother. -
Early years and education.
When he was little he attended Hodong Elementary School and Yonsan Middle School. He also took classes at Just Dance Academy, where he learned different types of urban dance, popping and locking. Jimin studied at the Busan College of the Arts, where she practiced modern dance; he was the top student in his department . -
Artistic Audition.
He auditioned for Big Hit after a teacher suggested he apply to an entertainment agency. He subsequently transferred to the Korea Higher School of Arts in 2012, after being admitted to the company. -
Debut.
He debuted as a member of the band BTS on June 13, 2013, being the second main vocalist. -
University studies.
Jimin graduated from Global Cyber University in August 2020, with a specialty in Entertainment and Telecommunication. As of 2021, he is studying a Master of Business Administration at Hanyang Cyber University. -
Grammys.
Jimin along with the rest of the group BTS achieved their first nomination as a group in the 2021 edition thanks to “Dynamite”. They entered the category Best Pop Duo or Group Performance.
