Buson at around the age of 20. He then moves to the city of Edo. Edo is now Tokyo. With his poet master Hayano Hogin he learns Haiku.

Around this time, Buson's master Hogin dies. From this Yosa Buson moves to the Shimosa province.Buson continues to work on Haiku.
