Conspiracy of Queretaro it was a movement born in the city of Santiago de Querétaro in 1808, this happened when the creoles and the meztisos revolted against the spanish because they were treated unevenly and they were not being paid what they deserved. Plans for Revolt
Plans for revolt are in place, Josefa Ortiz de Dominguez leaked the news to Spanish officials. Many supporters of this movement were secretly arrested, and this lead to conspiracies within the people. They were ready for “El Grito”. -
Grito de Dolores
The Grito of Dolores, happened on a small city near Guanajuato in Mexico, on September 16, 1810.
This was the event considered the beginning of the Mexican War of Independence. -

The First Victory
On September 8 1810 Hidalgo began to attack Guanajuato .
Most of the Spaniards and the Creoles were exciled, the spanish troops lost against the rebels in the battle of the “Alhondiga de Granaditas”. -
Battle of Monte de las Cruces - October 30 1810
The army of f Father Miguel Hidalgo and Ignacio Allende made its way towards Mexico City. This “army” was little more than a mob of Mexicans angry after centuries of abuses by the Spanish, and had recently whetted its appetite for plunder by sacking the city of Guanajuato. The Viceroy and Spanish officers and bureaucrats were terrified and rounded up whatever forces were at hand to try and defeat them before they reached Mexico City. Battle of Bridge of Calderon
The battle of Bridge of Calderon was a decisive battle in the Mexican War of Independence.
Miguel Hidalgo and Ignacio Allende were in a stalemate with Spanish and royalist authorities, Hidalgo's troops ran into the Spanish army and were captured, they had no hope left. The forces moved north to crush resistance, it was only in Coahuila and Texas that revolutionary events continued. -

Miguel Hidalgo was executed by a firing squad. Hidalgo died in the city of Chihuahua before he was killed he thanked his people and said goodbye since he knew he was going to be executed. -

Constitution of Apatzingan
The constitution of Apatzihgan was created by the congress of anahuac. It was caused by persecution of Felix Maria Calleja troops it was the name given to the army after the unification of the Spanish troops and it was led by Agustín de Iturbide and the Mexican insurgent troops of Vicente Guerrero
Composed of 7,616 infantrymen, 7,755 cavalry, 763 artillery with 68 cannons. -
Battle of Temalaca
This battle was fought in Temalaca, Puebla between the Spaniards and the Mexican rebels. The rebels were led my José María Morelos and the Spaniards by Manuel de la Concha. At the end the Spaniards won and captured José María Morelos, who was later killed. -
Plan of Iguala
The Plan of Iguala was held by Agustín de Iturbide, a creole landowner and a former officer in the Spanish army who had assumed leadership of the Mexican independence movement in 1820. His plan was made to independ Mexico which was being ruled by an European leader. -
