First one
Warren Buffet bought 3 shares of his first stock at age 11. This was a learning experience for him because he bought it at $38 per share, it dropped to $27 per share and then went up to $40 and he sold it and he only made a $2 profit per share, and if he would have kept the stock he could've made a $162 profit per share because the stock jumped to $200 per share -
First business
When he was 13 he ran his first business. He was a paperboy and he sold his horseracing tip sheet. He also filled his first tax return that year for his bike. -
The pinball
Later that year his dad was elected U.S. house of representatives and so he and his family moved to Washington D.C. There he and his friend purchased a pinball machine and placed it in a barber shop where they made a profit from. Enabling them to buy 2 more machines and eventually selling the company for $1200. -
College
At age 16 he enrolled at the University of Pennsylvania. He stayed for two years then moved to the University of Nebraska to finish up his degree. Then he received his master degree in economics at Columbia University. -
