The Louisiana Purchase is important because it doubled the side of America. There was a lot more places for people to settle, and we could get more materials. -

This is important because we were able to stop the Russian from expanding their trade and settlements, and we also gained a lot more land. -

This is a very important war because the US annexed Hawaii. We also won the war and a peace treaty with the Spanish cane out of it too. -
Hawaiian Revolt
This was important because this led t the annexation of Hawaii in 1898. They overthrew Queen Liloukalani because she wanted to restore powers that had been taken away and nobody wanted to have those powers back. -

This is important because we ended the revolutionary war and were at peace. -
Panama Canal
In 1903 the US bought the Panama route when Roosevelt was President. When the canal was built, international trade was easier and traveling by boat was easier. Before the Panama Canal in order to get to California from Florida, you would have to travel around Brazil, which would take many days and probably weeks. So the Canal made traveling quicker and easier.
