Birthdate
I was born on June 12th, 2005 in Windsor, Ontario. In a way, this was the first role I was assigned as a person, that being the role as a son to my parents. -
First Time Experiencing "Transformers"
When I was about three years old, I experienced the "Transformers" movies for the first time. I loved it and therefore it was a big part of my childhood. Being a Transformers fan has had a huge impact on my life, as it has helped me meet friends and has led to me getting jobs such as video editing due to my producing of Transformers-related animations and posting them on YouTube. Due to this, I consider my first time experiencing the Transformers franchise to be a significant life event for me. -
First "Star Wars" Theatre Experience
When "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" was released in theatres, my parents took me to see it. Watching this movie in the theatre was the first time I was inspired to make movies, and because of that it was a significant life event for me, as my dream career now is to be a Hollywood producer. -
First Stop Motion Animation
When I was 11 years old, I created my first ever stop motion animation using the action figures I had as a kid. This was my first step into filmmaking, and because of that I consider it to be a significant life event for me. I have been making stop motions ever since, and they continue to get more and more elaborate with every new production. -
Created Youtube Channel
I got a YouTube channel so that I could post the animations I made over the years. I named it Crooked Windows Studios. I began making stop motion videos about my versions of the Transformers, and currently have a small following of about 2,200 subscribers. I’m still posting, and am currently editing my next project. This created a role for me as an amateur filmmaker, and would cause role conflict in my life with my role as a student. However in the long run it has been beneficial to my career. -
Started High School
In September of 2019 I began my first year at St. Thomas of Villanova High School. I've gotten honour roll every year, and currently have an average of 90%. This transition in my life has lead to many great things, such as new friends and an increase in my self confidence. -
First Editing Job
In the summer of 2021, I secured my first ever video editing job. When I went for my interview, they said they had seen my YouTube channel and were impressed at what I could do. They hired me on the spot. I worked there until October of the same year, when my contract expired and I had finished all of my work for them. This job was the first step in my transition from amateur to professional filmmaker. -
Coming Out to my Family
In October of 2021 I did one of the hardest things I ever had to do; I came out as gay to my family. I was lucky enough to be met with love and support from them, and have been treated with nothing but that ever since. This life event broke the social norm that had been established in my predominantly Catholic family, and therefore there was a big transition in the way they viewed things following this. This also changed my status in the family as I began to teach my parents about issues I face. -
Achieved G2 Driver's License
In July of 2022, I achieved my G2 driver's license! I was lucky enough to get it just in time for summer, and my dad let me take his sports car out to go driving with my friends as long as I paid for gas, so I had a lot of fun that summer. However, this transition caused me to take on more responsibility in my family, as I began to help my parents out with running errands and taking my siblings to sports. -
Accepted to Fanshawe College
In November of 2022 I was accepted to Fanshawe College as an early admission. I will be going for Film and Television starting in September of 2023. This is an exiting transition I am looking forward to in my life.
