First Amendment and Bill of Rights
The First Amendment has 27 total. It’s important cause government are giving people Freedom to Speech, Freedom to Religion. So that is it fair to people. -

To be sure that everyone had support from the governments, they added 10 amendments to give protects our freedom. This amendments are important because it made us free officially by the law. -
The Civil War
The cause of the Civil War were slavery and tariff. Because of the Disagreement between the north and the south, the civil war began. This is very important to the U.S. History, because Civil War is when people considered that slavery and racism were wrong. -
End of the Civil War
The Civil War ended in 1865. This event is important to know because this is when Reconstruction started, and system of slavery were restricted by the law. -

After the civil war the south was totally damaged. It’s important because Lincoln tried to reunion the country, also tried to help black people. -
Andrew Johnson
When Andrew Johnson took over the country, he didn’t care much about the human rights for black people. Black Codes, which were basically racism, were accepted in the south. This is important because it shows that even though slavery system was shut down by the law, there were so many people who continued to treat African Americans terribly. -
Ku Klux Klan (KKK)
The terrorists who were so against slaves becoming free were called Ku Klux Klan; they wore white clothing to represent the white people. However, when Ulysses S. Grant became the president of the United States, the KKK lost its momentum. It is important for U.S. history because it represents the huge scale of racism at that time.
