Tomochihi created his tribe the yamacraw indians on this date, the tribe he created was a mix of many different tribes but mainly consisted of creek and yamasee indians, -

When the colonists arrived in 1733 tomochichi and his tribe were there to greet them straight off the boat. -
When he began helping Oglethorpe
Tomochichi started helping Ogletorpe in Febuary of 1734 he helped build the new colony and he helped them get goods and things they needed from other tribes. -
Indian school created
Tomochichi created an indian school, he created it so he could teach people about native indian life style languages and helped many people out; -
Expedition without Tomochichi
in 1739 james oglethorpe went on an expidition to coweta georgia to communicate with some of tomochichis connections, tomochichi was on his deathbed and couldnt make the trip, unfortunatley he had to go by himself -
Tomochichis death
Tomochichi died in october due to a very serious illness, several days before he died he was on "bedrest" he was ver sick and couldnt even help oglethorpe go on his last expedition to Coweta Georgia
