    Thomas Kuhn Birth
    Thomas Kuhn was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, to parent Samuel Louis Kuhn and Minette Kuhn. His father was a graduate of Harvard and MIT and fought in WW1 while his mother came from a wealthy family. When only a few months old Thomas Kuhns family moved to New York City.

    In 1940 Thomas Kuhn attended Harvard where he began studying physics. In 1943 he graduated with a BS in Physics summa cum laude. He then joined the war effort in Europe in the UK developing countermeasures against enemy radar. After the war he returned to Harvard where he earned his doctorate in physics.

    Thomas kuhn died on June 17th, 1996 in Cambridge, Massachusetts from cancer. For the last two years he had been battling through and mouth cancer.
