    Jack first lived in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, when he came to Canada.

    Jack gave Alex [Polly's brother] money so he wouldn't become bankrupt. Jack took money from the profits of his family garden. This resulted in the Wilson's family becoming bankrupt. Jack decided to take off to Canada for a year. This way he could send money back to Scotland, to suport his family. Jack constantly wrote Polly love letters and about his travels in Canada.
  • Elizabeth's Wedding

    Polly and her family were preparing for Elizabeth's wedding while Jack was in Canada.
  • Helen is born

    Polly gave birth to a beautiful daughter named Helen.
  • Tomato Growing Business

    Jack had his first experience of winter in Canada. He relocated in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. This is where he started his own tomato growing business. He realised it was harder to grow tomatoes with the course soil in Prince Albert, rather than the rich soil he is use to in Scotland.
  • Denied from the Army

    Jack tried out to join the army but was denied. He was unable to join the army because of his weak lungs. Jack decided to go for plan B and become a RNWMP.
  • Starting a New Life in Blaine Lake

    Jack's first town he worked in as a RNWMP was in Blaine Lake. This is where he became closer with the Patterson family.
  • Jessie

    Jack met the Patteron's daughter, Jessie Patterson, in the summer of 1916.
  • TB

    Jack came down with TB [Tuberculosis] Jessie, his new girlfriend, nursed him back to health.
  • The Patterson's Find Out About Polly

    The Patterson's Find Out About Polly
    Jack finally tells the Patterson family about Polly. He did not tell them the truth. He said she was unfaithful with horrible morals. She was a cheater and treated him poorly. The Patterson gave Jack sympathy and they felt bad for him. The Pattersons did not know the real Polly Wilson.
  • Polly travels to Canada

    Polly is becoming very worried about Jack. She wants to know if he is hurt, sick, health, or possibly dead. She wants closure for the six years he's been gone. She hasn't received any letters for him for several months. Polly came to a decision to come to Canada and find Jack.
  • Polly Arrives in Canada

    Polly lands on the Halifax Harbour at 11:28 a.m.
  • The First Call

    Polly calls Jack and tells him she is in Canada and wants to see him.
  • The Train to Saskatoon

    The Train to Saskatoon
    Jack told Polly to take a train to Saskatoon. He didn't want her to come to Prince Albert. He wanted to hide her from Jessie and her family. Once they met in Saskatoon Jack wanted to take Polly to Regina. This was nine hours away from where Jesse lived. They took a car done the highway traveling 20km/h.
  • A Baby on the Way

    Within days off Polly and Jack being reunited. Polly is now pregnant with their third child.

    Polly finds a letter from Jessie, to Jack, in Jack's pocket.
  • Polly is Alone Once Again

    Jack moved back to Saskatoon to be in charge of the Military Police. He left Polly behind in Regina.
  • Marriage License

    Jack got official papers for his up coming marriage with Jessie. He paid a dollar fo rthe marriage license. He did not buy a ring. He was going to give Polly's gold wedding ring to Jessie on the day of their marriage.
  • Few Last Seconds of Polly's Life

    Few Last Seconds of Polly's Life
    Jack picked up Polly. He told her they were going to explain everything to Jessie in Blaine Lake. Jack pulled off the high way onto a faint trail to shoot geese. Once Polly got back into the vehicle she turned around and asked Jack what he was doing. Jack was standing outside of the car holding a double barrel shotgun inches away from her face. Seconds later Polley was dead. Jack had blown the top of Polly's head off. Jack started to dig under the culvert where he then burried Polly's dead body.
  • Burnt Car

    Jack was driving away from the crime scene when one of his tires of the car got stuck. His only conclusion he came up with was to torch the car. Which he did.
  • Jack's Second Marriage

    Jack, and Jessie, had their wedding day and are now officially married.
