Bilbo Baggins is a plain and simple hobbit, who is afraid of adventures. he is one day visited by Gandalf, a wizrd who brings dwarves to Bilbo's house. They take him on a trip, and they need to get over the Misty mountains. They are greeted by goblins, who try to eat them, but are turned to stone. Chapters 3-6. pages 46-89
Bilbo is lost in a mountain full of goblins by himself, where he is introduced to Golum, an evil creature who can see in the dark. They give eachother riddles so bilbo can get out, and finds a ring. He realizes its Gollum's "prcious", and turns him invisible. He escapes and finds his crew. -
Chapter's 6-10 PAGES 89-150
Bilbo and crew are left in a dirty, dark, woods without gandlaf. TRhey tresspass on spider territory, where Bilbo slips on his ring and saves everyone. They follow a bright group of lights, and are taken captive by the woodland elves. Not Bilbo of course, since he was invisible from the ring. He gets them out of the dungeon, and hides them in barrels, which get shipped out of the forrest. -
CHAPTER 10-15 PAGES 150-201
Bilbo and crew find their way to the mountain where the dragon is located. Little o they know, Gandalf is on his way to meet them, because he is finished with his unknown business. Bilbo sneaks into a secret tunnel with his ring on, and finds smaug, the dragon. He is laying in a huge cave filled with jewels and gold. He smells Bilbo, but cannot see him. Bilbo steals a golden cup, so smaug seeks revenge on the thief. -
Chapters 10-112 Pages 150-182
A huge battle brews up between all the lands somewhat close by. The wolves and goblins fight along side the dragon, against the eagles, and bilbo and crew. -
Chapter 12-16 pages 182-228
The dragon escaped to a town nearby and was salin. The goblins and wolves retreated, and then bilbo was knocked out. when he waked up, he was all alone. Gandalf finally found him, and he was told that Thtoin, the leader of his group, was killed. The rest of them were gathering their treasure, and moped around until they decided what to d0 -

Bilbo returns home, unharmed. He writes a novel about his journeys, and one day, one of his dwarf friends returns, and tells him that it's time to go on another journey
