Fray Marcos and Esteban Journey
The porpuse of their journey was to find the seventh city of Cibola. Esteban went ahead of the party and was killed by the Zuni Tribe. Fray Marcos reported that he saw the seventh city of Cibola from a Distance, but it seemed like the same size as Mexico City. -

DeSeto was the original leader. DeSeto dies of a fever by the mississipi river so they threw him in there. -

Coronado's Expedition
Coronada searched for the seventh city of Cibola and Quivera. HIs second guide was turk and Coronado made Turk dig a hole for his grave. Coronado discovered Palo Duro Canyon, and Grand Canyon. It was important because it made the spaniards not go back to Texas.
