frey marcos and esteban were supposed to look for the 7 cities of gold, frey marcos said he saw them and esteban found a zuni tribe. when esteban found the tribe he demanded women, food, and riches and the zunis killed him.

Coronado

Coronado went searching for the 7 cities of gold but found an adobe village. When coronado went to the vilage he started killing people and the zuni indians sent out a slave named turk. when turk told the spainards of a gold cities run by amazon women and every thing was gold he set out. once there, he found it to be another lie and killed turk and tortured indians. Coronado was seen as a failure, but we today see him as a sucess because he found the grande canyon and the Palo duro canyon
