The main character was in a dark place, he didn't know where. He tried to remember what's happened, but he only know that he was with a man, who was asking questions.
The main character tried find out where he was, he thought that he was in a prison cell; but he didn't know. -
The pit and the pendulum II
When the main character awoke he saw bread and water next to him, but he didn't want. He decided to go to the prison cell's centre and he started to crawl. In the centre was a pit.
Then he heard a noise and he saw a light, he could watch his prison cell.
Finally he came back and eat the food. He slept. -
The pit and the pendulum III
He awoke again, but this time he was in other room, wich was made of iron, he couldn't get up and next to him was a dish with meat. In the ceilining was a picture of Time with a sharp scythe, wich was moving over him.
Then he heard rats, he thought that he was die, so, he put the meat around the rope and the rats started to eat it.
Finally, he heard guns noises and voices, later, a man held his hand and pulled him back. -
The gold bug I
The story teller live in Charleston, he has a friend, Legrand, who live in Sullivan's Island. He goes to Sullivan's Island to visit Legrand, who hasn't family, he live with his servant Jupiter.
One day, the story teller went to Legrand's house, but no one was there. Later in the afternoon, Legrand and Jupiter arrived at house. They had found a extrange bug in de edge of the sea. Legrand wanted to draw it.
When the story teller saw the picture he put it near the fire and he saw some red letters. -
The gold bug II
Jupiter goes to Charleston to give a note to the story teller. When he arrive, they come to Sullivan's Island, where Legrand is waiting them.
Legrand tell him what he has discouvert about the gold bug, and they go to the beach. They cross the creeck in a boat. Then, they goes to the crift and look a very old and tall tree. Jupiter climb the tree and put the bug in the left eye of the skull, wich is in the tree. The bug fall down. Later they dig and found a treasur and they bring it to the house -

The story teller ask Legrand how did he know where was the treasure? Legrand say that all is thanks him.
When he discouvert the red letters, Legrand tryed decipher the message. Then he look for the places that appear in the message, and wrote the note for the story teller.
Finally, they only think what are they going to do with the money. -
The facts in the case of Mr Valdemar I
The story teller is a hypnotist, he talks about how he does sleep people. He talk clear and slowly, he say "Your eyes are heavy. You will sleep." and people sleep. But really, the don't sleep.
One day, the hypnotist askee him what will be happen if he hypnotize people, who are going to dead. -
The facts in the case of Mr Valdemar II
Mr Valdemar, a hypnotists' friend, was illness, he was going to die, but he was afraid of death.
When he was going to die he talk with the hypnotist, who was going to hypnotize him. He hypnotized him, and then he checked that Mr Valdemar hadn't died. He called the doctor to ask him if he had died, but the doctor said that Mr Valdemar wasn't dead.
Mr Valdemar was hypnotized during seven months. -
The facts in the case of Mr Valdemar III
After seven months, the hypnotist decided to wake mr Valdemar. When he finished the hypnotize Mr Valdemar became to throw out yellow liquid for his ears. He said to the hypnotist "Make me sleep, or wake me up!". Then the yellow liquid became smelt.
Finally, he died. -
The fall of the house of Usher I
The story teller receives a note of his friend Usher. In the note he says that he is ill, so, the story teller goes to his house.
When he arrives the Usher's servant take his horse and put it in a stable. Then they enter in the house and go to the Usher's room.
Here, he see that his friend is very pale and look older than him. Later, Usher's sister enter in the room, but she doesn't talk, then she leaves the room. Usher says his friend that her sister is very ill. -
The fall of the house of Usher II
One evening, Usher said "Madeline has died". Then Usher and the story teller took Madeline's body and went to a room, wich was under the house.
In the centre of this room there was a wooden coffin, they put the Madeline's body inside it. Usher stared it a long time and later they went out the room and closed it.
Since this day no one sleep. -
The fall of the house of Usher III
One day, Usher entered in the story teller's room, he asked him if he had heard. but he didn't know what.
Suddenly, started rain and they hear thunders. Then, they saw Madeline, whose dress had blood, whose fingers had blood and whose face had blood. She took her brother and then they fell.
The story teller went out of the house and then the house fell. -
Down into the Maelstrom I
The story teller wants to see the Maelstrom, wich is a whirlpool that appear between Moskoe and Vurrgh Islands, in Nordland.
One day, he travels to Nordland and pays a guide to see it.
They went to the edge of the cliff and they see it. The story teller thought that it was as a huge mouth with very think teeth. Then, they talked about the Maelstrom. -
Down into the Maelstrom II
They talked about the fishermen, who went to Moskoe Island to fish. This is very dangerouse, because the Maelstrom appear twice each day. So, if they want go to fish, they have to know how many hours have they been fished.
The story teller asked him if anyboby was alive after was into the Maelstrom. The guide asked him how old is he, and the story teller answered 40.
The guide said that he was into the Maelstrom three years ago. -
Down into the Maelstrom III
This is the guide's story:
His brothers and he went to Moskoe Island at 7 a.m. to fish. When they arrived they found too much fishes, so they didn't look the hour that was.
Then the Maelstrom appear, and his brothers held themselves in the mast with a rope, but he couldn't. So he held himself in an empty water barrel.
Finally, he was alive and his brothers were dead. -
The masque of the Red Death I
In a country was a terrible disease, the Red Death; the ruler of the country decided to make a masque, but he only invited the courtiers. He wanted that everybody forget the Red Death.
In the castle there was a lot of thing to the guests.
Prospero prepared seven rooms with different colours, each room was illuminated with the colour of the room.
The first room was blue, the second was purple, green, orange, white, violet and the last room was black. But it was illuminated with red. -
The masque of the Red Death II
The clock that was in the black room rang each hour. When the guests hear it, they stopped dance, the music stopped... during a few minutes. Then they continue as before.
During the night they stopped more time, at the first they didn't mind it, but at 11 p.m. they was stopped too many time. -
The masque of the Red Death III
At midnight the clock rang again, but this time people was stopped for too much minutes. Then they saw a man, who wore a white gown and had blood in his face, he walked for all colourfull rooms. Finally, he went to the black room and he saw the clock, Prince Prospero was going to kill him, but he fell in floor and the blood became out of his ears. Then everybody died. -
The oblong box I
The story teller is going to travel to New York, he is in Charleston. He goes to the shipping office to talk with a captain. Then he sees the passenger list, because he wants know who travel with him.
He only meets one passeger, Cornelius Wayt, an old friend.
When the trip's day arrived he watched that Cornelius travel with his wife and daughters. But he had three cabins. -
The oblong box II
The story teller obseved that Cornelius' wife is not like his friend had described, she wasn't beautiful and charming. And Cornelius behaving very extrange.
One day he hear a noise in the oblong box cabin, it was Cornelius. He was in the cabin during long time, he didn't eat, he didn't came out. -
The oblong box III
One day, the ship crashed with a rock and became sinking. The passenger came out and they got on the rowboat, but Cornelius was not in it.
Then Cornelius appear with the oblong box. the captain said him that he could not take the box, but he wanted take it. Finally, Cornalius and the box fell into the sea.
A month later, the story teller talked with the captain, he said that in the box was Cornalius wife's dead body.
