  • My Miraculous Birth

    My Miraculous Birth
I was born to Thu and Tim on a lovely Decamber night. My birth was a very special occasion. I was Both of my parents first born. That would be considered pretty rare. Considering not many of me are born I am also pretty scarce. That means that I am doubly rare and scarce.
  • Emily is born!!

    Emily is born!!
My only full-blood sister was born barely a year from the time of my birth. With two young ones, my parent's attention would be in high demand. Between the two of us and with my mother holding a full-time job, atttention would be in short supply. Emily, being the younger of the two, would usually win in this front.
  • The Parentals get Divorced

    The Parentals get Divorced
My parents had been seperated since I was about three years old. The finalization of their divorce made it possible for my father to remarry. From this marraige I would gain an amazing older sister and an older brother who is not easily describable. From my brother I would learn about incentives, mostly negative. An explanation of this would be, him telling me what to do and me doing it or regreting not doing it.
  • Anna B

    Anna B
My sister Anna was born. I was extreemly excited to have a baby sister, although I wanted to name her Bailey. My younger sister, however, was very upset with this new member. Emily thought she had a choice of bringing baby Anna home or trading her for two bags of candy. She felt that her want for candy was triumphant of the need to bring a baby home.
  • Maddy Dean <3 my other sister

Sixth grade was the year I met my sister from another mister! She has been such an amazing influence in my life. She was the first person I met to introduce me to other religions. Until her i was slightly ignorant of other religions, now I know I have a choice in which I choose. She fueld my interest in religion and philosophy, unintentially. I have come to realize that not all churches use negative incentives as my baptized church does.
  • Colin!

    Colin!
My adorable baby brother was born one month early. He was perfectly healthy which is rare for such an early birth. As he has aged he has learned about incentives, mostly positive, but some negative. For example, if he misbehaves and does not listen, I will begin to count to five and he automatically behaves. The consequence of me getting to five before he settles down is I tell dad.
  • Kaelyn

    Kaelyn
Kaelyn was born a saggitarius, just like me and her mom. A trait of that being stuborn. She was born a little over a month early. She was tiny and fragile and was in the NICU for a month. We were all scared for her, but like I said, she is stuborn. She was unable to eat or breathe on her own so she needed tubes. They were vital to her survival, and even after she came home she needed an oxygen tube. Now she is bigger than my brother.
  • NYLMed New York

    NYLMed New York
I was offered the amazing opratunity to go on an experience of a lifetime. I went to a summer medical seminar in New York. I met amazing people and created connections for life. I also was exposed to a life in the medical field. On my trip, I was permitted a certain amount of money in which I was to use for needs rather than wants. I had to ration the toilettrie that i had packed with me as well as my consumption of food.
  • Grandma B passed away

    Grandma B passed away
My Grandmother was diagnosed with stage 4 Lymphoma shortly after Homecoming. We drove to Arizona to be with her in the hospital. We had no idea how long we would be gone, and so I missed a lot of school. I needed to be with my grandma but my school wanted me attending my classes. We were told the cancer was spreading rapidly and we were lucky if she had a week left. Our time with her was in high demand but very short, too short supply.
  • And so it begins....the end

    And so it begins....the end
Senior year... It feels like yesterday i was walking through the front doors of Chatfield Senior High for the first time. Now it will all be over. I am a senior. Highschool is ending and soon I will be in the real world. I will be using and recognizing economics. I will need to more carefully debate between want and need. I will use comparative benefit-cost analysis on the daily. I will have to pay rent or tuition, or both. I will have to choose.
