Muhammad
Muhammad, the center of Makkah, received a message from Allah through the Angel of Gabriel. Gabriel told him Muhammad was proclaimed the oneness of God universally. (He was “chosen one.”) -

City of the Prophet
After learning of an assassination against Muhammad, he led his followers to the town of Yathrib, it’s now know as Madinah. This moving started the Islamic calendar. Several battles were fought for the land of Makkah, but Muhammad unified everyone and freely entered without shedding blood. -

Islamic Empire
The Islamic Empre spread from Africa to China to India to different parts of the Middle East. Trade routes developed and ideas were exchanged and many moved to Makkah and Madinah. The Muslim world was the center of scientific and learning advances, known as the "Golden Age." It thrived for centures until the 17th century. Eventually the empire seperated into small kingdoms. -
Pure Teachings
A Muslim scholar and reformer named Shaikh Muhammad bin Abdul Wahhab began advocating a return to the original form of Islam. Many rulers saw this as a threat, so he hid in the town of Diriyah. The ruler of Diriyah and Adbul Wahhab decieded to come to together to teach to true Islam. -
The First Saudi State
The Islam Empire ruled all over the state. -
Ottoman Empire
The Ottoman Empire was getting suspicious of the growing Saudi state. They were ruling over Northern Africa and parts of the Middle East and didn’t want it to spread any bigger; so, the empire came in with new technology and attacked the largest city, Diriyah. They destroyed all the wells and date palms, making it hard to live and make money. -
Regaining Power
The Al-Saud family regained power and Turki bin Abdullah Al-Saud had moved the capital the capital to Riyadh, which was twenty miles south of Diriyah. It became the second Saudi State. For eleven years as he ruled, they successfully took back land that the Ottoman Empire had losted. He had ruled and made sure that his people had rights and well being. With his son, Faisal, the state had a period of peace and prosperity. -
The Shattered Peace
The Ottoman Empire attacked again and destroyed the peace. they wanted to expand their empire farther into the Middle East and wanted to completely destroy the Suadi State. -
The Birth of Saudi Arabia
The country was first named the Kingbom of Saudi Arabia, a Islamis state with Arabic language and the Holy Quran as its constituition. -
Oil is Discovered
Saudi Arabia was first discovered in Dhahran, Saudi Arabi. It is one of the largest oil well in the world. Oil is the country biggest income, they earn 90% of their income from it. -
Joining the UN
Saudi Arabia joined the United Nations on October, 10 1945. -

The Twin Towers in New York CIty were hit by Extreme Terrerists from Saudi Arabia. Their intention was to destory the country, but it brought us together instead. -
King Adullah bin Adulaziz Dies
Adulaziz died at the age of 90 of a lung infection. He has ruled since 2005 and was one of the greatest rulers.
