Preservation of the Qur'an
Abu Bakr was instrumental in preserving the Qur'an in written form after Ridda wars. Because of the wars of apostasy, it led to the death of a large number of companions from the readers of the Koran and its conservation, Umar ibn al-Khattab pointed to Abu Bakr to collect the verses written on paper, on the skin, on the leaves, on white stones and bones. The death of other Companions can lead to lost more verses. It took two to three years to collect the Koran and put the first full version. -
