La Salle Gets in Trouble
La Salle and his men set out to look for the Mississippi River but they run into trouble and many died.They went back to their ships. One of his ships returned to France. -
La Salle is murdered.
They set out againt o find the river, but his men are sick and were attacked by Indians. Then on March 19, 1687, Pierre Duhaut kills him and leaves his body for the animals to eat.
