    Mario Kart 64
Mario Kart 64 was released for the Nintendo 64 in 1996. My Father owned a Nintendo 64 and he would always set it up so we would play the game . This game means a lot to me as it was the very first game I ever played as a child. Although I would always get attacked by greens shells or hit walls. the memories of spending time with my Dad meant a lot to me!
  • Mario Kart Wii

    Mario Kart Wii
The Nintendo Wii had released worldwide in 2008 and it was a revolutionary system that included a wireless remote with motion sensors. When Mario Kart Wii came out with the game, EVERYONE had to have it. it allowed players to steer using motion controls. I originally owned a PS3 at the time but my parents sold my console (Without me knowing) and bought me a Wii. I had no complaints!

When the Nintendo 3DS came out in 2011 along with Super Mario 3D land and Mario Kart 7, I begged my mum to take me to JB-HI-FI to try out the demo system. I would spend the time at the shops playing either Super Mario 3D Land or Mario Kart 7 and fly off in another world as I tried out the new 3D feature on the 3DS system. Soon after, my parents bought me the system!
  • New Super Mario Bros U

in 2012, Nintendo released the Wii U. but my family struggled finically to even pay the bills. One day however, I came home from school and my Step Dad game me a new game called New Super Mario Bros U. but I only had a Wii! How was I going to play this game! Sure enough, he said "Wait here", went into his room, and took out a brand new Wii U console!
I think I jumped 3 ft in the air!
  • Super Smash Bros Wii U

2014 was a tough year, my family decided to move to Brisbane for work and I had to leave my life behind Adelaide. home life and school was REALLY tough!
Through out the year my Step Dad saw my progress at School and was so proud of me, that he said 'come with me, we're going to the shops'. he then said 'ok, what was the game you wanted'. of course, he bought me Smash Bros. That mean so much to me as I knew we struggled with money, so for my Step Dad to sacrifice that for me, meant a lot!

2017 was another tough year for me, my dog passed away, and my parents split up in the same year. During this time, the Nintendo Switch had come out and I knew I wouldn't be able to get it as we again struggled with finances. However, my Step Father bought me a new Nintendo switch with Mario Kart Deluxe with Mario & Rabbids Kingdom Battle which helped me cope with the stresses I was dealing with!
  • Super Smash Bros Ultimate

    Super Smash Bros Ultimate
When Nintendo announced SSBU for switch, I really wasn't expecting it so soon after Smash Bros Wii U! I remember I would call my friend up and we'd make our own theories on what character they would add to the game. When it released, my friend and I both went to the shops to buy it and we both spent a whole day smashing it out!
