Around Christmas, Charlie gets to be a part of his friends Christmas tradition. The tradition is that everyone gives one person a present and you have to guess who the present is from. -
New Years eve
Charlie goes at a New Years party with his friends. He does LSD for the first time. The effected lasted for almost two weeks and he decided to not do it again. -
Charlies first "real" girlfriend
He starts to date Mary Elizabeth. She is a part of Sam and
Patrick´s group of friends. -
breaks up with Mary
the realitionship does not go very well and Charlie does not feel very well in the relationship. Charlie kiss Sam right in front of Mary during a game of truth or dare. -
New girlfriend, Mary
Charlie gets his first "real" girlfriend. Her name is Mary Elizabeth and is a part of Sams and Patrick group of friend. -
conflict
Because of what Charlie did to Mary, Charlies group of friends gets angry at him and they stay a while from each other. Charlie is really sad and he feels lonely again. But after a few weeks his friends forgive him because he supported Patric in a fight at school. -
graduate
His friends are graduating from high school and he starts thinking how much he is going to miss them. And he is afraid that he is going to feel alone again -
mentally sick
When Charlie sees his friends for the last time before they go to college, he suddenly remembers what happened between him and Aunt Hellen. Aunt Hellen molested him and Charlie goes into a deep depression and he has to be hospitalized. -
The end
Charlie writes his last letter in August. When he writes his letter he has just been released from the hospital after two months. In the letter he writes about how optimistic he is for the time that is coming.
