This is one of the biggest events in US history, The final draft of the Declaration of Independence was approved. I chose this because it is a very influential event in world history because other countries began to seek independence afterwards. -
Yorktown
Last battle in which Americans win the American Revolution. I chose it because it is a place that symbolizes victory. -
Unalienable Rights
Influenced by John Locke, these are the rights that we are given when we are born and that no one can take from us. Very important mark in history. Rights are very important to me and that’s why i chose it. -
The Constitution
The Constitution would turn the goals of the Declaration of Independence a concrete system of government which i think is even more important than the actual independence since it is actual implementation. -
First Amendment
It is the Protection of Individual Freedoms. This have a incredibly big meaning to Americans all over the world because without it we wouldn’t be the land of the free. I chose it because it is one of the things that gave Americans a lot of room to make overall improvements. -

A war between a collection of eleven states that left the Union in 1860 and 1861 and formed their own country in order to protect the institution of slavery. I chose it because It is one of the most important wars in US history. It is very controversial due to slavery.

The Confederacy (Civil War)
The Confederacy would start the war with an attack on a Union fort called Fort Sumter in South Carolina. This is a very controversial part of the Civil War that i really think we have learned from. That is the reason why I chose it. -

Gave people the right to be landowners. The ability to own land is something that has shaped America today and that’s why I chose it. -
Battle of Gettysburg
Battle of Gettysburg is among most important battles ever fought on American soil because it had the most amount of casualties in the Civil War. It is the turning point of the Civil War and that’s why I chose it. -
Emancipation Proclamation
Issued by Lincoln, the Emancipation Proclamation freed slaves in Confederate states, changing the goal of the war to abolishing slavery. I chose this because I considerate it to be one of the most important events i World History. -
Transcontinental Railroad
A very important road at the time that connected the eastern USA with the west. Transportation came to a whole new level due to this and without it a lot of workers would have struggled to transport goods. -
Industrial Revolution
It all started with the textile industry. It came with jobs, money, and labor. I chose it because it is something that radically changed not only Americans lives but several countries followed.
