Military Service (1942-1945)
Feyerabend is drafted into the German Army and volunteered for officer school. He ascended to the rank of Lieutenant and was shot in the hand and belly in 1945 but survived. (Preston, 2016) -
Completing education
Feyerabend received his doctorate in Philosophy and went to study at Cambridge University in England with Karl Popper as his supervisor. (Feyerabend, 2019) -

Epistemological Anarchism
The book, "Consolations for the Specialist" is published by Feyerabend where he criticized Karl Popper's point of view in scientific methodology. This is the first time he labeled himself as an "epistemological anarchist" (Feyerabend, 1970) -
Anything Goes
With the release of his book, "Against Method", Feyerabend revelas his "anything goes" idea, that great scientists are opportunistic and creative and that any attempt to establish rules in Science only hinder a scientist's creativity (Preston, 2016). He recieved a lot of criticism even the nickname of "science's worst enemy" -
Death
Paul Feyerabend died of a brain tumor in Genolier, Switzerland. He is famous for his anarchist view of science and his rejection of universal rules of the scientific theory. Asteroid Feyerabend (22356) is named after him.
