Nasrudeen's Timeline

  • Birth

    when I entered the world, and began all the learning.
  • Sports

    My parents right away put everyone into sports/social institutions. I started with gymnastics and karate, these sports played a huge role in my establishing a social norm. These sports established a sense of balance for me but also joining karate gave me a lot of respect which would be considered a social norm.
  • Sibling Birth

    My litte brother was born and became the youngest child of the family. This created a role conflict as I was used to being the youngest and having most of the attention
  • Another Sibling

    Another brother of mine was born. By the time he was born I then learned the social norm and wasn't jealous of my younger sibling instead I was more loving and accepting
  • Began school

    My parents enrolled me into a french immersion school. At first I was nervous but then I was realized it was a social norm and slowly became comfortable.
  • And another sibling

    My little sister was born giving me my first younger sister. This help me establish a social norm for me as it gave me a better understanding seeing a younger woman grow up.
  • World Championship

    I began to get really serious in kickboxing. I entered a competition to become a part of team Canada and won! Then continued onto the world championships to represent Canada in Orlando, Florida.
  • Life changing experience

    I went to Africa to meet the rest of my family. This was life changing experience for me because it caused a role conflict. It changed my mindset to see their culture and the way they lived was very different to what we have here in Canada. It cause a role conflict because it helped me develop morals that contradicted the social norm here in Canada.
  • World Champion

    Got very serious with my kickboxing. I then competed for my first in world champion ship competition for 3 years straight and in my last year I won the world championships. This increased my confidence significantly seeing all my hard work pay off.
  • Beginning of highschool

    Highschool was a huge milestone for me because it gave me a better understanding of a social norm, but I was so focused on being a social norm I forgot about the importance of education, regardless highschool help create the person I am now.
  • New beggining for my education

    I entered into a new social institute, wheable. At first I was nervous being put into a different system. After a bit of time i became more comfortable and being away from all my highschool friends started to make me think about the future more and want to accomplish more and began taking school seriously. This caused a role conflict for me because i started doubting priorities and began making important decisions such as giving up my social status to obtain more for the future.
