The baby loves rooting around when I hold him close and seems to be a natural at feeding, he has adapted very well. -

Jack has started trying new foods one at a time and seems to love anything sweet. He will uaually suck the sauce from his noodles and drop them to the floor and watch to see our reaction. -
He's mobile! Infancy- Stepping- Physical
He crawls everywhere but doesnt like to try to stand and take a stepquite yet. Everyone says to just give him time. -
He can Stand Toddler- Physical- Motor skills
Jack is growing into a small toddler and has refined many of his hand and eye coordiantion type motor skills. He can crawl and pull himself up on some things. Today however he took his very first steps all by himself with nothing to hold on to. -

Jack has developed the ability to recognize himself in the mirror and often imitates the speech and actions of others. -
his first seperation Toddler-Socio-emotional-Seperation Anxiety He had never really been away from me before and must have been terrified. I thought he would be ok in the care of my mom whom he was familiar with while I did some last minute christmas shopping but he cried the entire time I was gone.

Jack has always made noises since and early age and loves to babble quite loudly with other kids and while playing with his father in the evenings. Jack has been using whole words to communicate his wants and needs and is now starting to put eords togetherand even associate ownership with certain items like his "momma's keys". -

Jack seems to be able to tell the difference between men and women and seems to favor women more then men in new settings and will go to many of my female friends who have open arms. -

Jack seems to have a real self awerness about himself and loves to smile and take pictures and then see them on my camera right afterwards. -

Jack is able to keep up with the other small kids and loves to slide on the slides. He is able to take turns and seems to have mastered the slides with the other kids but still seems to get a little lost during activities that are new to him. -

Jack has learned to say short sentences and can communicate some of his wants. This morning when he woke up he said "Mommy, I am hungry" which is great progress because he used to say "mommy eat" when his vocabulary wast asdeveloped as it is now. -
He can now tie his shoe laces.

Jack learned to tie his shoes and can now do it by himself. -

We never imagined that Jack was near sighted and struggled to see things far away. -

Jack is good and playing baseball and it has really boosted his self-confidence and overall self-esteem. -

Jack has always loved skateboards ever since he was little. Now that he is getting older he has the ability to do some awesome tricks with great hand, eye and body coordination that he just didnt have before. This ability makes him very confident and quite popular amongst his small clique of friends. -

Adapting to the diversity and fast pace
Jack just started middle school and seems to be making the transition quite well even though he was sure he would struggle when he learned there were multiple classes each day. -

Jack is really developing feeling for this girl friend hehas been seeing for 8 months and wants to buy her an appropriate gift. -
Car accident

I got a call from the hospital, Jack was out drinking alcohol with friends and they tried to drive home. Jack has a broken arm and leg on his right side and was the only boy left in the car as the driver and Jack's so called friend both ran away from the scene of the accident and had to be tracked down at their homes.
