mouse hunt
Id always play mouse hunt with my parents, even though, like most peoples experiences with mouse hunt. it rarely actually worked. i have a distinct memory or bringing out 'Mouse Trap' when we realised that we had a mouse in our house and my mum had to explain to me why it wouldn't work to catch an actual mouse. Snake / pinball / minesweeper
A must have on the list. I would always steal mums Nokia so that i could play snake on her phone when we were out and i was bored. At home, i would always play on the old windows 98 computer with pinball and minesweeper as it couldnt exactly handle much more. Shrek Computer game
My computer was too slow for a doging game while riding the dragon in shrek, meaning i would always die during attempts at dodging. My dad also tried multiple times. Nintendogs - Dalmations & Friends
In primary school, one day a friend she showed me her amazing handheld console that you could blow into and have it know that you were blowing bubbles for the dogs in Nintendogs. i made it my personal mission to get one of my own. Viva Pinata
Viva Pinata for the x-box 360 is a strange, yet necessary addition to this list of pivital games that i played while growing up as I would always play together with my best friend still to this day when we first met on his xbox 360 that he had in his place. I also remember watching the tv show of Viva Pinata, so for me, it was amazing that i could also play it as a game -
pokemon platinum
My best mate tyler and i grew up playing pokemon platinum together. Everytime we got together we would be either playing pokemon platinum or animal crossing together. Platinum was special because we basically played the entire game as Co Op -
Animal Crossing New Horizons
Like many people, when the new Animal crossing came out at the beginning of the pandemic, i was ecstatic because, not only was animal crossing one of my favourite games when i was growing up, but also i was extremely bored during lock-down, so it was nice to have a bit of an escape and where instead of a pandemic, all i had to deal with was a greedy raccoon. -
Sims 4
The Sims, along with many games not mentioned on this list like splatoon, is one of those games that ive always picked up and out down over the span of years, but always manage to come back to. Lately i've been playing a lot of sims, probably as another escape due to the worlds current events - who doesn't want to live vicariously and actually own property during their life time... Cant relate.
