The Indian Removal Act is signed leading to the allowed removal of the five civilizeri tribes living in the American South, across the Trail of Tears, to new territory given to them by the government. -

The Treaty of Dancing Rabbit Creek is signed, leading to over half of the Choctaw tribe being forced from their homes. Over 6,000 of them would die along the trail and the ones that remained behind would be abused. -

The Dade Massacre occurs, in which a group of African-American's joined the Seminoles for an attack against a marching column of American soldiers. All but a couple of the soldiers are killed, and the hostiles also destroy some plantations. -

The Treaty of New Echota is signed, giving Native Americans two years to leave their territory. They were supposed to have been given five million dollars and a reservation on the new land, but they never received any of the money. -

The Chickasaw tribe pays the Choctaws 530,000 for part of their new land in the west, and proceeds to journey along the trail to merge with them in the new territory. -

The Cherokee begin to protest the Treaty of New Echota, and talk to Congress about repealing it. However, Congress was dead set on removal, and tells the troops to begin rounding up the Native Americans.
