Introduction
Leonardo was born on November 11, 1974. He's an american actor who started getting recognized around the 1990's, but first starred in a show in 1979. He started making small appearances on commercials and educational films but wasn't well known yet. His love for acting started at the age of 5, by then he was already at the sets of the television series "Romper Room". He didn't carry out this show for long as he began to become troublesome. -
Growth
It was in 1990 that Leonardo made his debut in television through a short story called "Parenthood" which he earned a nomination for Young Artist Award and Best Young Actor. Later he made appearances on several television shows but made his breakthrough in 1993 when he starred in "Growing Pains" which was widely acclaimed. -

The years 1993-1997 were the highlight moments of Leonardo's career, were he appeared in big movies like "Romeo and Juliet", "What's eating Gilbert Grape", "Marvin's Room", "The Great Gatsby", "Titanic", and so many more iconic films. He was greatly recognized and won several awards such as Best Supporting Actor, Favourite Actor- Romance, Favourite Actor-Drama, Best Lead Actor, and much more.
