    Trust vs Mistrust
    From birth baby Leo has been being cared for by all of his family. they never lets him go hungry, he has shelter and warmth, and he is loved and protected. Leo is now 18 months and he is a happy baby who loves meeting new people he knows no better then to trust the people around him because that is all he has ever known.This is the first stage of Erikson's Psychosocial Theory called trust vs. mistrust

    Autonomy vs. Shame and Doubt
    Everyday since Leo stopped wearing pull-ups he has not had even one accident he is so proud and tells everyone he sees what a big boy he is. He is also ver excited that he got to pick out paw patrol underwear at the store he loves picking out his own things.The second stage of Erikson's theory of psychosocial development takes place during early childhood and is focused on children developing a greater sense of personal control.
  • Industry vs. Inferiority

    Industry vs. Inferiority
    Leo came home from kindergarten very upset telling his mom the kids in his class all knew how to tie their own shoes and they got gold stars and he did not.That night they practiced tying shoes until he was proficient. The next day when he came home from school he was so proud! This stage of Erikson's Theory is called Industry vs. Inferiority.Children who are encouraged and commended by parents and teachers develop a feeling of competence and belief in their skills.
