  • Birth

    Karl Popper was Born in Vienna, Austria on July 28, 1902. Many may not have known this with his birth, but Karl Popper changed how we think about science forever with his work.
  • Lecturer in Philosophy

    in 1937 Karl became a lecturer in Philosophy at Canterbury University College in New Zealand. Here he wrote his influential work, such as; The Open Society and its Enemies and The Logic of Scientific Discovery. He also wrote many more books, but those are the most famous.
  • Falsification

    Karl popper is famously known for his theory on falsification. Here is a you-tube video on that very topic.

    Falsification is very possibly one of the best things he has done for science and the world will be changed forever due thanks to his brilliance. During his theory of falsification he questioned many different philosophers and actually challenged them and was really the first to do so and it truly helped and benefited science because he did.
  • Death

    Karl Popper died of complications of cancer, pneumonia and kidney failure. At the age of 92 on September 17, 1994. He spent his life's work to the benefit of philosophy he received countless rewards for the work that he did and will go down in history as one of the 20th century's greatest philosophers of science.
