Bach's Birth
He was born in Eisenach, Germany. His parents are (father) Johann Ambrosius and (mother) Maria Elizabeth Lammerhirt. He has three older brothers and one older sister. He is the youngest of the family. -
Death of his Parents
Sometime in the year of 1695, both of his parents died a year within each other and he was taken in by his older brother, Johann Christoph. (picture is of Bach's father) -
First Position
He went to Arnstadt to take the postition of an organist at the St. Boniface Church. -
His first marriage
In the year of 1706 he marries his cousin, Maria Barbara. -
Finding another position
His bosses at St. Boniface Church obliged him to find a new position at Mulhausen. -
Searching for another post
Bach moves to another post, this time as Kapellmeister at the court of Prince Leopold in Cothen. (picture of a kappellmeister) -
Maria Barbara Dies
Maria dies suddenly and they don't know why. Maria gave birth to seven children with Johann Sebastian Bach. Within a year Bach remarries to the daughter of the town trumpet player, Anna Magdalena Bach. (picture of Maria Barbara) -

Bach starts to lose his eyesight, but nevertheless continued to compose even after his pupil surgery to try to fix his eyesight. -

Johann Sebastian Bach dies of a stroke at the age 85. He was burried at the St. Thomas' Church.
