My First Birthday
I obviously don't remember my first birthday, but I've seen the pictures. This took place in Cuba. There were a lot of kids there, most of them were cousins. There were two big merengue cakes and a lot of balloons. -
Moving to Miami, Florida from Cuba
When I was about 3, my mom, dad, and I moved to Miami. We didn't have a bad life in Cuba because my grandparents used to send us a lot of money, but my mom wanted to go. -
My Parents Divorce
A couple years after we moved to the United States, my mom and dad separated. I'm not going to go into detail about that. -
Switching Schools
I used to go to a school called Bent Tree Elementary, I didn't have a great experience there. In third grade, my mom switched me out of that school because I was bullied sometimes. What really made her change schools was that, in the morning this kid pushes me to the side and I hit my cheek really hard against a stool, it left a huge bruise. A couple months later I went to PPA which was a much better school. -
My Grandparents Stayed in Miami
I didn't mention that my grandparents were working in South Africa as doctors. My grandma was an optometrist and my grandpa was a general surgeon. They had come to visit us a couple times, but this time they were staying. -
Graduating Elementary
Finally at the end of 5th grade our school planned a graduation ceremony for all the 5th graders. It was really fun, we sat at tables with our friends and ate pasta and chocolate mousse with sprinkles. There was also a dance floor but I was kind of an antisocial back then so I didn't dance. -
PPMH
So we're in present day. I won't bother to write about every year. I haven't graduated Middle School, so lets see what happens.
