Shing Chi and I have been friends since 1st grade and he has always been a better version of me. He pushes me to try and better myself. He is willing to listen and work harder than others. These are only a few traits that I'm trying to learn from him. -

Janice taught me what love really is. Although I was a jerk most of the time, she was patient and caring. No matter what happened, she stuck around. This made me want to change and become a better person for her. -

My 4th grade teacher, Mrs. Tang, was kind and loving. She also introduced me to my best friends now. She serves as an inspiration for me and I genuinely want to be like her. -
Grandma death
Her death allowed me to see how emotionless and shallow my relationships are. This made me want to branch out more and work on these things. -
Friends getting me into gaming
My time would be spent so much differently if it wasn't for this. -
Getting bad grades in my report card
This event reminded me that grades isn't everything. Knowing this, I decided to find hobbies that aren't academic-related. -

Sean is hardworking and passionate. This inspires me to work harder and get over my laziness. -

David Fong
He is my youth pastor and was the teacher in the leadership class. His story makes me want to be a better person and a better leader. He taught me how to become a Christ-centered leader. -
Going on a missionary trip to Wuhan
This event reconciled my relationship with God. It also allowed me to discover my passion to teach and socialize with others. -
Joining Cross Country
Joining the team allowed me to discover my passion for running, which is now basically the only sport I do. -
Church leadership class
After my youth group leaders recommended me to this class so that I could take on a leadership role in my youth group, I learned a lot about being a Christ-centered leader. Although I never took on that role, I learned a lot in the class and still apply some things today. -

Chris
Chris brought me into a lot of my current hobbies. He also serves as somewhat of a role model for me. Although he may be lacking academically, his patience and care for others is something I want to learn from him. -

Dennis
Dennis is my youth group leader who often challenges me. He reminded me that you must have a strong will to be a good leader. Being unafraid of playing the role of a bad guy and challenging others is something I learnt from him. -

Mr. Cliff
Mr. Cliff is my roots group leader. He serves as a constant reminder to continue to work on my faith. I never realized that I've been slacking on that area and Mr. Cliff got me working on it again. -
Breaking my phone
I had a mental breakdown and completely destroyed my phone. It is because of this that I realized that I didn't have anyone I can talk to about this. Which made me branch out and get to know more people on a deeper level. -
Tilting in CS
I used to get mad a lot but this time I realized how bad my underlying anger issue really is. I decided to stop blaming my team when I'm playing the role of an in-game leader. Instead, I learn to understand others and be more patient. -
Student Council 18-19
Joining student council was my first experience being with a group of strong leaders. It is probably the few times I had to step down and be a follower. However, from that, I learned how to lead and develop a follower better.
