    The Piano's Existance

    The piano was created around the 1700's by Bartolomeo Cristofori. He had already made many excelant harsicord instruments and he knew a lot about stringed instruments.
  • Mozart- great famous pianist

    Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, 27 January 1756 - 5 December 1791 Born-Salzburg, Austria. Died-Viena, Austria
    World known, Mozart was a prodedgy from a very young age. He was amazing and composed of 600 works. Though he died at a young age his name will never be forgotten. Mostly played classical music.
  • Beethoven- another AWESOME pianist

    Born-Bonn, Electorate of Cologne. Died-Vienna, Austrian Empire
    Famous pianist had great musical influence and composed much beautiful music, some of it while he was deaf. Mainly played classical music.
  • Scott Joplin was an African-American composer and pianist.

    February 11 1868- April 1, 1917
    Born- Linden Texas. Died- New York City, New York
    Scott Joplin achieved fame for his ragtime compositions. He was a great piano teacher and descended into dementia as a result of syphilis. But he too won't be forgotten.
  • Sergei Rachmaninov another great pianist

    Born-Great Novgorod, Russian Empire. Died-Beverly Hills, California, U.S. He was a great composer and gave way to a personal style notable for its song-like melodicism, expressiveness and his use of rich orchestral colors
  • Myra Hess a great female pianist

    Myra Hess 25 February 1890 – 25 November 1965
    Born- London, England. Died-London, England. She bagan playing piano at age 5. Hess began her lunchtime concerts a few weeks after the commencement of the Second World War.
