Harry worked in the Armed Forces Security Association in Washington, D.C. early in the Korean War. Here he worked under Herbert O. Yardley, the founder of the Black Chamber and author of the book "The American Black Chamber." This organization would later evolve into the NSA (The NSA was founded in 1952). Harry helped decipher Korean codes and wrote codes for the Americans.

Harry attended Clark University, in Worscester, MA. As a major in math, his education set him up for his future career.

Enlisting in The Military

Harry inlisted into the Airforce directly after college and used his Crytanalitic skills to rise to a rank of First Lieutenant. He served for Two years and then was sent home after funding was cancelled for the cryptanalisys program. He then served in the reserves for four more years until being discharged from the military.

Inport Outport

After his time in service, Harry and his firend John started a small time inport/outport business where they bought and sold thrifty goods. Their buyer was to a lady who owned a department store and apparently "really liked [Harry]".

Start at AVCO Everett Reaserch Laboratory

Harry, after two years in the Inport/Outport business, decided to get a real job at the AVCO Everett Research Laboratory. He worked here for twenty years as a cumputing specialist. AVCO pioneered a whole range of technologies from rocket nose cones to intra-aorta pumps.

Factory Mutual, a real estate company, hired Harry in '77 and he worked in their IT department for twenty-five years, untill his retirement. Supposedly, Factory Mutual bought a complex computer and did not know what to do with it; as a result, Harry was hired. Throughout his carrer, Harry became a Vice President of his sector within the company.
