Harry Houdini wasn't born a U.S. citizen. He was born in Budapast, Hungary. He was born on March 24, 1874. His real name was Ehrich Weiss. His family moved to the U.S. two years after his birth. -

Houdini's most famous escape routine is the galvanised milk can escape. He lowered himself into a milk can and had the lid clamped down and padlocked. He would perform this act as the climax of his shows. He would change it up to keep the act fresh. -

Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
He was noted for his books but he was also interested in spiritualism. He and Houdini were great friends, who often discussed spiritualism. They met when Houdini was searching to create the worlds greatest library on spiritualism. -
His Final Chapter
On October 31, 1924, at 1:26 p.m. Harry Houdini died. He died of bowel diesease. Over 2000 attended his funeral. He was buried next to his mother.
