George Washington's Grown Man Life
He married Martha Custis. George became President on April 30, 1789 at age 57. He lost his real teeth by cracking Brazil nuts with them. His brother Lawrence died when George was 20. In 1781, he won a huge victory over the British at Yorktown, Virginia. In 1754, he began fighting in the French and Indian War. George had two half-brothers Lawrence and Augustine. -
George's Death
He died at Mount. Vernon at age 67. The Washington Monument towers 555 feet high in Georges honor. George was on the Mount Rushmore. He was on the 1 dollar and the quarter. -
