He believed that every event in history happen because of a previous movement. He said "chance is not ruling the world". He was born in Paris. He went to school at Collège Louis-le-Grand. He thought himself to be a deist. He doesn't like Jews. His famous quote was "If God did not exist, it would be necessary to invent him" He is famous in France for fighting for freedom of religion. One of his works was Le Mondain. He also wrote between 50-60 plays. -
Jean-Jacques Rousseau
Born on June 28 1712 in Geneva, Switzerland, philosopher, writer, and composer Jean-Jacques Rousseau, made a huge impact on t of the 18th century. As a kid his family was middle class and therefore had the right to vote. When he was ten 10 his uncle sent him to boarding with a minister who taught him mathematics and drawing. was born in Champagne, went to school at the jesuitic College in Langres. He earned a master of arts degree in philpsophy. His first work was the Essai sur le merite et las vertu. In his work, Pensees philosophiques, he attacked atheism. His fmaous Enlightment work is the Lettre sur les aveugles. He died in Paris in 1784. -

She was born on april 27 1759. She was born in the city of Spitalsfield, London
She wrote "A vindication of the rights of women". This was one of her famous works. Her most famous quote was "The beginning is always today." Mary Wollstonecraft died in 1797
