Birth and young life
Elon Musk was born in Pretoria, South Africa to a Canadian mother Maye and a South African father Errol. He spent his early childhood with his brother Kimbal and sister Tosca. His parents divorced when Elon was 10 during this time he really got into computers. Education
When Elon was 17 he left South Africa to study at the Queen's University in Canada, he also left to avoid military service. After 2 years he left to study at the University of Pennsylvania and graduated with a Bachelors in Economics and Physics. He then moved to study at the University of Stanford he left after 2 days to take advantage of the internet boom. SpaceX
In 2002 Elon Musk founded his third company SpaceX. They wanted to build rockets for commercial travel. In 2008 they got a contract from NASA to send a rocket to the international space station. and on May 22, 2012 they launched the rocket and made history being the first private company to every bring cargo there. The Hyperloop is an idea that Elon Musk had to change transportation. The idea behind it is to create a airtight tube. Then to remove all the air making a vacuum, to remove air resistance.
